Mission Statement:
CALI encourages families living in extreme poverty to achieve a more self reliant
lifestyle within a context of sustainability and environmental responsibility.
Vision Statement:
To accomplish its mission through its strategies, CALI cooperates with and
strengthens the efforts of village level development workers, community leaders,
non-profit and religious organizations, forming a network that identifies problems,
develops solutions, implements and manages these solutions and documents them
for replication.
Goals & Objectives:
1. Survey communities for felt needs.
2. Create a database of felt needs.
3. Create a network of non profit organizations, institutions and government
associations that will address the identified felt needs of the communities.
4. Compile a database of appropriate solutions as provided by the network that
addresses the identified felt needs of the communities.
5. Establish a network of resource centers that will evaluate, manipulate, experiment
with, demonstrate and make available to the target communities the appropriate
solutions identified by the network.
