It is not every person in the world that can afford a vehicle. Some type of transportation
is necessary in all our lives. Try to imagine a life without transportation. While some
farmers in the United States might need a train to transport their produce to market, the
Asheninka Indians of the Peruvian Amazon only use a dugout canoe.

El Burro is affordable transportation developed by missionary inventor Earl Miner.
Change A Life International purchased the rights to build this machine from the inventor.
This machine is to provide alternative transportation for people who can not purchase a
vehicle.

El Burro was first designed as a motorcycle ambulance to transport AIDS victims from
their village homes in the African bush to the nearest hospital.

It is a front wheel drive, motorcycle type, two wheeled vehicle capable of transporting
600 pounds at a speed of 38 mph. El Burro is powered by a 5 hp gas or diesel,
horizontal shaft engine. This allows amazing 90 mpg fuel efficiency.

El Burro can also use BioDiesel which is a Change A Life future project. Home
BioDiesel production is possible and Change A Life will teach BioDiesel classes to
Peruvian families encouraging them to produce, use and sell BioDiesel in their local
communities.
